Earn college credit while doing meaningful work to benefit children in Uganda!

The African SOUP is looking for qualified undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about using their talents and skills to better the education system and make a difference in the lives of children in Uganda.

We accept interns on a rolling basis as opportunities become available. The dates below act as a general guide only.

  • Summer internships: Applications open in February

  • Fall internships: Applications open in May

  • Spring internships: Applications open in October

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for interns with experience in any of the following areas: marketing, graphic design, fundraising, communications, education, international relations, and nonprofit management.

HOW LONG IS THE INTERN COMMITMENT?

SOUP Internships mays vary in length but are typically an unpaid, 10 week program. Start and end dates are flexible depending on the student's school dates and requirements and the needs of The SOUP.

WHERE IS THE INTERNSHIP?

Internships can be completed from anywhere in the United States. Interns will work remotely directly with the US Executive Director as this is a satellite program (relocation is not necessary).

We are not currently accepting applications to work with us in Uganda.
